Reality Error
Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of Reality Error, an editorial and participatory site operated by Angelini Sebastiano, an individual based in Italy.
Version and contact
Effective date: 30 October 2026. For general requests, account closure, data deletion, or challenges to suspensions and moderation, contact privacy@realityerror.media. Deletion and privacy requests are handled consistently with the Privacy Policy.
Use of the service and accounts
Public reading does not require an account. Registration is limited to people aged 14 or over: this is a contractual access rule and does not replace the legal conditions for children's consent under applicable law. To comment, report or vote in Awards, you must use an account and provide accurate data for the requested functions. You are responsible for your credentials and activity carried out through your account only to the extent attributable to you; you are not automatically responsible for unauthorised or otherwise non-attributable activity.
Content and rights
You retain rights in content you submit. For a comment that is actually published, you grant Reality Error a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence limited to hosting, displaying and distributing it within the service, and to the technical or editorial uses necessary for operation, moderation and security. Reports are not included in this publication licence and are handled as operational data under the Privacy Policy. You must hold the necessary rights and must not submit third-party personal data without authorisation.
Rules and moderation
Threats, discriminatory hate, targeted harassment, doxxing, abusive sexual content, fraud, impersonation, spam, malware, vote manipulation and limit evasion are not allowed. Content may be blocked, reviewed or removed, and accounts may be restricted. See the Participation Policy for criteria and reports.
Awards and external sources
Awards votes are distinct from reactions and follow the Awards Guide. Articles, documents, media and third-party links remain under the control of their respective providers. Reality Error may correct, update, suspend or remove content and features when needed for accuracy, safety or operation.
Availability and responsibility
The service may change or become temporarily unavailable. Stories are editorial information and entertainment, not professional advice. To the extent permitted by law, Reality Error does not guarantee the absence of errors, interruptions or third-party content and does not limit mandatory user rights. Italian law applies, without prejudice to mandatory rights and consumer protections under applicable law.
Privacy and updates
Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy, and cookies in the Cookie Policy. We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or law; the effective date of this version appears in the opening section.
